New Zealand Post (NZ Post) issued a vibrant set of four stamps celebrating British-New Zealander Richard O’Brien’s cult classic, The Rocky Horror Show. This issue coincides with the 50th anniversary of the 1975 film adaptation, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which has captivated audiences worldwide with its unique blend of science fiction, horror, and musical theatre. Designed by Chris Jones of Graphetti.
The stamps showcase iconic imagery from the musical, including the infamous red lips (in holographic foil on the souvenir sheet), the phrase “Let’s Do the Time Warp Again,” and characters like Dr. Frank-N-Furter and Rocky.
