When I viewed her website, I was taken by her style and presentation, everything was bright colorful and happy. I had obtained the dragonfly FDC for the purpose of obtaining a fairy or pixie style drawing. Ms. Lau's style was perfect for this idea, and I am not disappointed.

Ever since I had heard about the Cottingley Fairies photographs, the concept of fairies existence in folk tales and art has fascinated me and millions of people across the world. The series of five photographs were taken by Elsie Wright and Frances Griffiths, two young cousins who lived in Cottingley, near Bradford in England, in 1917. The pictures came to the attention of writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who used them to illustrate an article on fairies he had been commissioned to write for the Christmas 1920 edition of The Strand Magazine. Conan Doyle, as a Spiritualist, was enthusiastic about the photographs, and interpreted them as clear and visible evidence of psychic phenomena. He believed...
