The second stamp was designed by UK-based Lee Townsend, who has worked with some of the biggest names in comics, and his extensive production has had him design for Marvel, Disney and Dream Works. The Townsend style is largely inspired by the Gardjola at Fort Saint Angelo and there, it kicks off from the fortress with Salima in the background, a red and white muscular Maltese superhero!
