Bob Budiansky is a comic book writer, editor and penciller. At Marvel Comics where is is best known for his work on Transformers. He is responsible for much of the writing of the original Marvel comic and conceived the names of most of the characters including  Megatron, Ratchet and Ravage...

Budiansky also created the Marvel character Sleepwalker and wrote most of the issues of the comic. Sleepwalker is a character from the Mindscape a dimension that borders on the mind of all intelligent beings and is inhabited by strange creatures. Some are vey dangerous, seeking to invade the sleeping mind. The Sleepwalkers serve as guardians to defend the mind. However Sleepwalker from the book becomes tapped in the mind of a college student Rick Sheridan. When Rick sleeps, the Sleepwalker emerges...

Budiansky served as penciller for the final years of the Johnny Blaze - Zarathos version of the Ghost Rider, drawing the covers from 1978 - 1983...

As an editor at Marvel, he oversaw Fantastic Four, Daredevil and the Spider-Man Clone Saga.

At BotCon 2010, hasbro named Budiansky as one of the first four human inductees in the Transfromers Hall of Fame for his contributions to creating the franchise...
